COVID-19 Safety Measures

Wellness is a top priority at Wellness Kitchen! To minimize the risk of infection and to protect your health and safety, the following measures and policies will be implemented:

  • I will be wearing a mask for the duration of class. I will wear disposable gloves upon request. 

  • All guests will be wearing face shields, provided by me, during the cooking portion of class. You may take off the face shield when you sit down to eat your meal. Face shields are sanitized before and after each use.

  • Your temperature will be taken upon arrival, and hand sanitizer will be provided. Anyone with a temperature over 100.4F will be asked to reschedule. 

  • Enhanced cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas and high-touch areas (bathroom, door knobs, etc) will be followed before and after each class. 

  • All classes will be private, meaning that there will be no mixing of groups or individuals. Class size is limited to 5 people within the same household.

  • There is only one class scheduled per day.

  • Guests must not have traveled outside of Hawaii within 14 days, and must not have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days. Alternatively, you may show proof of a negative COVID-19 test done within the last 72 hours. 

  • Guests experiencing fever, cough, new loss of smell or taste, or other cold- or flu-like symptoms will be asked to stay home. 

  • The 48-hour cancellation policy will be waived if you are cancelling due to illness-related reasons.  Such cancellations will receive credit for a future class to use within 6 months of the original date. 

  • You will be required to sign a liability waiver relating to COVID-19 upon arrival.

Please note that these measures are temporary and are subject to change as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves.
